Hey, I'm Matt! I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in São Paulo, Brazil, so I speak Portuguese. I got my undergrad from UVU in business and then my Masters of Business Administration from USU. My profession has slipped into entrepreneurship, I run and manage several small businesses. I love the flexibility of being a business owner so that I don't miss out on the important stuff and can make my family my top priority. I'm what you'd call a social butterfly: I love having people over, hosting game nights, meeting people, and learning their stories. Mookie says I'm a collector of people. Once you're in, you're in for life, and I'll always show up however you need me.

Since it's so hard to talk about yourself, here's what Mookie has to say about Matt:

Matt has the biggest heart of anyone you'll ever meet, he really is a giant teddy bear. He'll drop anything to help his friends and family. He's such a hard worker and loves pumping up people's ideas and helping them accomplish their dreams. I've never met a person who has anything bad to say about Matt. He's easy to get along with and very hard to make angry. He has been such a strong support and rock to me as we've gone through trials together. He's a pillar of faith and positivity, and I will die on the hill that he is the best decision I've ever made in my life.

Hey, I'm Mookie! I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mendoza, Argentina, so I speak Spanish. I got my Associate of Arts from UVU and decided to start our family instead of continuing on with my education. Aside from my favorite job as a stay-at-home mom, I currently work SUPER part time from home, I design background quilting for an embroidery company that sells designs to quilt shops, and I manage a team of stay-at-home workers. I love the flexibility of making my own schedule so I can be there for Ollie and spend time with him.

I have a lot more hobbies than Matt does. I've currently taken over our game room as a crafting room, and my unfinished-projects list gets longer by the month! I love being creative and making things, whether it's Disney keychains for our backpacks, embroidered sweatshirts, or zipper bags, I'm really in for whatever craft. I also have a long list of quilts I'm wanting to make, both for myself and for others.

He's seven years old and the resident mess maker around here, professional Lego builder, snack enthusiast, and all-around fun guy. He has a knack for turning a perfectly clean room into a disaster zone in approximately 3.8 minutes. His favorite messes to make are setting up obstacle courses, or building houses out of couch pillows and furnishing them to the hilt with items from all over the house. He's really good at building the house, not so good at cleaning it up. We're working on it, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We love watching him use his creativity and come up with fun games to play.

Ollie has always loved boat-themed pretend play. One summer he turned his bed into a "boat," and we spent literally hours in it pretending to scuba dive, fight off pirates, catch fish, and find treasure. Mom and Dad weren't allowed to leave the boat, so we joked that we were seasick. Now that he's so grown up, we'd give anything to spend a day at sea with him again.

Ollie has so much energy, and he uses it being so much fun. He loves playing with friends and being around people, just like his dad, we say he has a solar battery, because he can always just keep going.

He's creative, funny, smart, determined, strong, and energetic, with a lot of hobbies. He likes to draw, color, paint, and make things (which he gets from Mom). He loves anything outdoors and moving his body, loves playing sports, and is so excited about hockey right now, he thinks he wants to be a goalie. He loves science, and enjoys helping cook in the kitchen by making salads or baking cookies.

We're pretty biased, but we honestly think Ollie is the best. He's so fun to be around and will make such a good big brother. We've watched him nurture and include younger kids in our neighborhood, and heard him pray for a sibling for years. He is so ready for this role, and would cherish them so much because he's had to wait for so long.

Hey, I'm Max! I'm new around here. I was Mookie and Ollie's Christmas present from Matt. I'm 10 lbs of long, wiggly nonsense and somehow carry the biggest personality in the house. I'm basically a furry noodle with four legs, zero personal boundaries, and a very strong belief that everything belongs to me. I may be small, but I have never once let that stop me from getting into trouble.

Don't mistake my naughtiness for bad behavior. Our neighbor friend has a new baby, and I love to immediately jump into her car seat whenever she comes to visit. Baby snuggles are the best snuggles, and I take my job as the neighborhood baby greeter very seriously.
