A letter to you
We don't know your name yet, but we have been praying for you.
We won't pretend to know what you're carrying. We're not going to tell you we'd be perfect, we forget shoes, we burn the garlic bread, and we let the dishes sit in the sink.
What we do have is a home that's warm, a kid who's been asking for a sibling, and two parents who have fought for a bigger family for years, with no success, but never a lack of desire.
We have a lot of love to give, and we'd love to know you in whatever way feels right to you. As much or as little of us in your life as you want. We'll respect your boundaries, your story, and your choices.
We don't know where this road will lead. But however this goes, we're rooting for you.
